4. BFS2022 Timetable is Available (8th June, 2022)

We are now pleased to announce that the program of the Bachelier Congress is available at here. The difficulty level of scheduling this program is unprecedented in the Bachelier history, due to people in different time zones. Moreover, we have deferred the deadlines of submission and registration a few times to accommodate many people, leaving us much shorter time to do the scheduling. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all who are interested in this Congress for your patience. Kindly reminder that the registration deadline is 11:59pm Hong Kong time.

Also, while we have tried our best to take care of the different time zones, the current program may still not be perfect for some participants. Your understanding is again much appreciated.

Look forward to seeing you all in Congress.

Organizers of the 11th World Congress of Bachelier Finance Society

11. Call for Invited Session Proposals (10th Dec, 2020)

The Congress is now calling for proposals of invited sessions.

An invited session should be organized by one or two organizers, which generally consists of five presentations. A single organizer cannot be the organizer/co-organizer of more than 2 invited sessions. Session proposals in which most of the speakers come from the same institution are discouraged.

The organizer(s) should submit a session proposal (visit here for the submission guideline) by the same deadline as the contributed talk submission. The following information should be provided in the proposal:

All the session proposals are subject to screening and acceptance by the Scientific Committee.

12. Passing of Prof. Duan Li

We announce with profound sorrow that Professor Duan Li, one of the organizers of the BFS Congress Hong Kong and a member of its Scientific Committee, passed away on Monday, November 16, at the age of 68. A dear friend and colleague, he inspired us both professionally and personally. He made significant contributions to many fields including mathematical finance/financial engineering, optimal control and integer programming. He was a true gentleman, scholar, teacher and professional, and a dedicated and tireless worker.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Duan's family and friends. An obituary page can be found at this website.
