Monique Jeanblanc, France

Jeanblanc Monique was a student of Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan between 1966 and 1969. Between 1969 and 1992, she was assistant professeur at Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan, and moved to Université d'Evry, where she obtained a position as a professor in 1993. She was teaching at various levels in economic science and in Master 2 in different universities and business schools in mathematical finance. She is now Emeritus
Professor at Evry University. She was the supervisor of 18 PhD students, some of them are now working in financial industry, the other ones have a position at university.

Her first works were on control theory, then she started to work in the field of financial mathematics. She wrote about 100 papers in probability theory and mathematical finance and four books. She is interested in particular in credit risk modelling and rôle of information.

She was associate editor of Finance and Stochastics, Stochastic Processes and Applications,International Journal on Theoritical and Applied Finance and she is a member of the executive board ofInstitut Louis Bachelier.
