ING Lecture: To model or not to model? To be used or to be believed? The taming of the financial models

We present the audience with a number of topics which are of importance in the financial industry at the moment, but which receive little academic attention. Based on real-life cases in different areas, we will postulate a few "open" questions with the hope of stimulating research for solid solutions.
