Conference Registration Fees Registration categories and fees appear below. To qualify for student status, verification (a copy of student ID or a department letter) must accompany your payment.
Conference Dinner Tickets Tickets for the conference dinner on Saturday, July 24, are not included with any conference fee. The conference dinner will be held at the InterContinental Chicago. Andrew W. Lo, the Harris and Harris Group Professor and the Director of the Laboratory for Financial Engineering at MIT, will be the featured speaker at the conference dinner on Saturday. Note: Space is limited and tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Payments Payments may be made by check or money order payable to University of Illinois (U.S. dollars only), or by credit card (MasterCard or Visa). No vouchers, purchase orders, or phone registrations will be accepted. For security purposes, please do not submit credit card information via the internet or email at this time. There is a $25 service charge for all returned checks. To Register 1. Complete the on-line registration form. For those who will be presenting a paper at the conference, you MUST submit your title and an abstract of 100-200 words when you fill out the registration form. 2. Soon after you submit your registration form you will receive by email a BFS2004 Registration Acknowledgment. 3. Print this email and complete the payment section. 4. Send the completed form with payment by fax (1-312-996-5227) or regular mail to: UIC Office of Conferences and Institutes (MC 117) 750 South Halsted Street, Room 214 Chicago, IL 60607-7011 U.S.A. For your reference, please keep a copy of this email. You will receive a second email from us when your payment has been received. We encourage you to register as soon as possible, both to ensure your participation and to assist us in planning this conference. Your registration will not be complete until your payment is received. For the pre-registration discount faxes must be received by May 1 and regular mail must be postmarked by May 1 and received by May 7 (so use express mail, if necessary, to ensure timely delivery). Refunds are subject to a $50 ($25 for student) nonrefundable fee for cancellations received on or before May 1, 2004. Requests received after May 1 but before July 1 are subject to an additional $150 fee ($25 for student). No refunds will be issued for requests received after July 1, 2004, or for non-attendance.
